During the sacred defense years, Mohammad Majidi went to the war fronts in order to take part in one of the phases of Karbala 5 Operation. But only ten days after his presence in the front, he was taken as captive by the Iraqi Bathists enemy forces and spent four years out of the best years of his life in the camps of Saddam army. In an interview with the website of Iranian Oral History, Majidi has spoken about his memoirs of the years of the Iraqi imposed war against Iran.

2nd Brigadier General Eskandar Beyranvand is one of Army commanders of the Islamic Republic of Iran. In 1960, he entered Military school and then joined the army. People are drawn to a side on the basis of their interests. The writers often like a special genre and work in this field. Some of them pick out the area of the sacred defense. Afsar Fazeli Shahr-e Babaki is one of such writers; someone who has grown up in an environment which has caused her to understand the issue of the sacred defense well. Asqar Naqi Zadeh is the actor of theater, cinema and TV who started his activity from the Art Center (Hozeh-ye Honari). At that time, I had less information about the Arab People , but knew well that dividing the people into Arab and non-Arab was a harmful measure.

Kak-e Khak

The book “Kak-e Khak” is the narration of Mohammad Reza Ahmadi (Haj Habib), a commander in Kurdistan fronts. It has been published by Sarv-e Sorkh Publications in 500 copies in spring of 1400 (2022) and in 574 pages. Fatemeh Ghanbari has edited the book and the interview was conducted with the cooperation of Hossein Zahmatkesh.

Is oral history the words of people who have not been seen?

Some are of the view that oral history is useful because it is the words of people who have not been seen. It is meant by people who have not been seen, those who have not had any title or position. If we look at oral history from this point of view, it will be objected why the oral memories of famous people such as revolutionary leaders or war commanders are compiled.
