It was a fall evening when I went to his office. We started to talk at 4 PM and it was just after 8 PM when I was leaving there. I did not notice the time pass. In the first part memories of Behzad Asaei, we read from his first appearance in fronts of the sacred defense to an injury that caused he could participate in all exams of May 1982 and came back to the front again. He said: "Hoveyzeh was a big change for me. Hoveyzeh was a professional training center", because he neutralized mines about four or five hours in a day.

Behzad Asaei was born in Tehran in 1965. He studied in schools such as al-Khwarizmi, Hashtroodi and Mofid and graduated in 1983. He spent B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in electrical engineering (power) in Tehran University. During 1987-1990 he worked in Hemmat Missile Industries Complex. Asaei became a faculty of Yazd University in 1990 and went Australia, Sydney in 1992 to pursue Ph.D. He graduated in Ph.D. in 1996. He started production of electric vehicles in Australia, Sydney in 1993.

After beginning of Iraqi imposed war against Iran, bulwark theater was first festival in Kermanshah city. I was a referee in festival. Next festival named "Basijs flower- face fighters" performed after liberalization of Sannaddaj city. I remember that all the walls was holed by enemy, and Mr. Rahim Safari, who was the commander of Kurdistans Sepah in those days, came for end of the festival. The next festival named "Ashuraian".

Oil and access to international waters were the economic-political lifelines of Iran and Iraq during the eight-year Iraqi imposed war against the Islamic Republic of Iran. On the other hand, the two countries did their best to continue extracting and exporting oil from the sea. Another event that happened in Khuzestan Province and I followed up was the Arab People Committee. One day, we were informed that the Arabs had set up a committee special for themselves. At that time, I had less information about the Arab People , but knew well that dividing the people into Arab and non-Arab was a harmful measure.
Book Review

Kak-e Khak

The book “Kak-e Khak” is the narration of Mohammad Reza Ahmadi (Haj Habib), a commander in Kurdistan fronts. It has been published by Sarv-e Sorkh Publications in 500 copies in spring of 1400 (2022) and in 574 pages. Fatemeh Ghanbari has edited the book and the interview was conducted with the cooperation of Hossein Zahmatkesh.

Is oral history the words of people who have not been seen?

Some are of the view that oral history is useful because it is the words of people who have not been seen. It is meant by people who have not been seen, those who have not had any title or position. If we look at oral history from this point of view, it will be objected why the oral memories of famous people such as revolutionary leaders or war commanders are compiled.
