In this program attended by a number of people of culture, literature and the art of Sacred Defense, the writer and narrator of the book "Farangis" – which includes the memoirs of Farangis Heidar Pour, the Kurdish rural lady from resistance against the attacks of the aggressive Ba'athi regime – was honored.

The text of the leader's note on this book is as follows:

"In the name of God, the compassionate, the merciful

A significant and untold portion of the war stories can be observed in the memoires of this brave and devoted lady. Brave lady Farangis has conversed with us with her strong spirit, the honest and kindly language of a villager, and the genuinely pleasant feelings of a woman. She has also shown us an unknown and important area of the imposed war geography in detail. we never knew so clearly and comprehensively that has come in this narration honestly about the borderline villages during the war and their plagues and displacement, starvation and material damage and the devastation and death of their loved ones, as well as the sacrifice of their youth who were among the first ones rushed to confront the enemy. The story of the enemy's killing and captivity by this brave lady which is itself an independent and exceptional story the likes of which had only happened in Susangerd at that time. Lady Faranagis should be honored and we should thank a lot the book's author – Mrs. Fattahi – for her fluent writing and the art of interviewing and memory-writing. / 10th of February 2018."

“From Leili Plain to Majnoun Island”

With memoirs of Afghan combatants of Sacred Defense
It can be said that today, after the passing of 30 years from the imposed war of the Saddam Army against Islamic Republic of Iran, the oral memories of most guilds and strata of people who were present in the scared defense have been told and some of them have been written in the form of oral history. Nevertheless, we know less about the presence of Afghan combatants in the war fronts.
