Martyr Hamid Ahadi in the eyes of his family and comrades

During the sacred Defense Period, some people left for war from each provinces of country that some of them became veteran and other became martyr. Zanjan province was one of the provinces where martyr General Hamid Ahadi were sent to the frontage of war to Defend Country. The book “His eyes were laughing” [1] is allocated for the martyr's life and the different people involved to tell their memory about the martyr, sach as memoirs of Karim Ahadi, Father, Munírih Ghoreishi, Mother, Giti Ahadi, Sister, Mustafa Ahadi, Brother, Morteza Halavt tabar, Martyr’s family and friends of the martyr, Asghar Eskandari, friend of the Martyr and  Hossein Mohammadi, friend and comrades of martyr.

In addition to memoirs of family and friends, the memoirs that are told by comrades of the martyr Hamid Ahadi can also be read in this book, such as memoirs of Reza kazemi Rad, Mustafa Bahramion, Jamal Parastar, Jalal Ghurbani, General Jahanbakhsh karami, General Majid Arjomand Far, Ebrahim Azhdar Rustami, Parviz Khosrow Shahi, Mohammad kheibar Shekan and Mohammad Masoud Esmaeili. There are also some memoirs of Akbar Borujerdi and Akbar Miandari. Among the contents of the book, some memoirs that are told by martyr’s family and friends are more personal, but individual characteristics of the martyr Hamid Ahadi are presented in the most of these memoirs. He had already been responsible for commander of battalion Imam Sajjad before Badar Operation was died on Esfand 23th 1363 (14 march 1985) by a direct shot in the enemy area while he was recognizing.

The book " his eyes were laughing " includes of  " Introduction", "Reference", "Biography", "Memoirs", "martyr’s wills", "part of the letter of a martyr for his sister," "The names of the narrators of this memoirs" and "Appendices". According to Maryam Bayat Tabar, this book consists of 50 horse interview with family and comrades of martyr Ahmadi. She says about development of the book that: “I have started it since late in 1391 (2013), and I finished it early in 1393(2014)”.

Bayat Tabar was interested in study of martyrs´ wills and Biography, and started to write short story since he was membership in the Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults Library. The book “we have a Scorpion here” is one of her books that is presented in Tehran International Book fair and also she is editing a book about the life of Amir Vaezi, one of the pilots of Sacred Defense period. The book "Behind the screens of mound ", about the life of Fatah Karimi, one of the prisoners of war, is first her serious work in the field of Sacred Defense, and the book “his eyes were laughing” is another her serious work in this field.

In the book “his eyes were laughing ", Giti Ahadi, who is sister of the martyr, said about one of his behaviors in one of memoirs that: “I found that Hamid is not wearing his jacket”. I asked: “Hamid! Where is your jacket? Why don’t wear your jacket?” Mother understood and repeated my words. Hamid bumbled and scratched his ears…and pointed out his bag by his finger. He   gave back his words again and said, "Why do you want to know? It will be found finally." Mom was not convinced and was waiting for an answer. I said:” perhaps, he forgave it for a person!” Mustafa nodded his head and laughed. Hamid coughed repeatedly for changing words, and said: “My throat is blocked, don’t you wants to give us a cup of tea?

The Arab People Committee

Another event that happened in Khuzestan Province and I followed up was the Arab People Committee. One day, we were informed that the Arabs had set up a committee special for themselves. At that time, I had less information about the Arab People , but knew well that dividing the people into Arab and non-Arab was a harmful measure.
Book Review

Kak-e Khak

The book “Kak-e Khak” is the narration of Mohammad Reza Ahmadi (Haj Habib), a commander in Kurdistan fronts. It has been published by Sarv-e Sorkh Publications in 500 copies in spring of 1400 (2022) and in 574 pages. Fatemeh Ghanbari has edited the book and the interview was conducted with the cooperation of Hossein Zahmatkesh.
