New book to be released on Sacred Defense

40 of the best pieces submitted to the Valfajr 10 Memory Writing Festival will be published in a new book.
IBNA: Speaking with IBNA, an official from the Foundation for Preservation and Publication of Sacred Defense Works and Values stated that as many as 110 pieces were submitted to the secretariat of the festival by 55 comrades who took part in the Valfajr 10 Operation from Mazandaran Province.
As Mohammad Sadeghi asserted, 90 works were shortlisted in the first phase of assessments by the judges and in the final round, 40 were chosen to be published in a volume presented to the guests of the festival’s closing ceremony.
As he said, the memories are currently being reviewed and proofread by scholars. The title of the collection has not yet been decided upon, he added.
He went on to say that in the beginning of the current school year a workshop was held about memory writing in Sari which was widely welcome by the city’s academia and university students.
He went on to say that the festival is held in tribute to martyrs Mousa Amouei and Mansour Kolbadinejad. The closing ceremony of the fair will be held during January in the presence of Sacred Defense writers and literati in Sari.
