“Sayyad Shirazi was a top divine Warrior”

High ranking Iranian army commander said martyr Sayyad Shirazi was one of the greatest divine warriors who made the best out of the least in his missions.

IBNA: Brigadier General Naser Arasteh made the comments in a ceremony titled as Description of the Parting in which the latest publications on Brigadier General Ali Sayyad Shirazi. The ceremony was held on April 11 in the presence of a number of top army commanders at the hall of the interior ministry.

The works were the Hunter of Hearts, the King of Hearts, Remembering the Hunter of Hearts and 100 other Sacred Defense Commanders.

In their speeches, Commander Davoud Ghiyasirad and General Hassan Seifi related some of their memories of their companionship with Sayyad Shirazi during the Sacred Defense years. After the speeches, Brigadier General Nasr Arasteh, head of the Sayyad Shirazi Board of War Educations, delivered a speech.

In his address, Arasteh stated that there were over 14,000 war breakouts throughout history with 318 ones only in the 20th century killing up to 250 million people. “I have studied some 500 wars so far. Wars of divine leaders with pagans are considered as divine wars,” he added.

He went on to say that the wars during the beginning years of Islam, Imam Ali’s wars and the Ashura event are some instances of divine wars. Sacred Defense is the only battle which can be classified as a divine war.

Another event that happened in Khuzestan Province and I followed up was the Arab People Committee. One day, we were informed that the Arabs had set up a committee special for themselves. At that time, I had less information about the Arab People , but knew well that dividing the people into Arab and non-Arab was a harmful measure.
Book Review

Kak-e Khak

The book “Kak-e Khak” is the narration of Mohammad Reza Ahmadi (Haj Habib), a commander in Kurdistan fronts. It has been published by Sarv-e Sorkh Publications in 500 copies in spring of 1400 (2022) and in 574 pages. Fatemeh Ghanbari has edited the book and the interview was conducted with the cooperation of Hossein Zahmatkesh.
