A book has recently been published by the Foundation for Preservation and Publication of Sacred Defense Values and Relics on the life of martyr Ali Sayyad Shirazi and 110 other Sacred Defense commanders. The work is compiled by Meysam Noruzian.

IBNA: The book is published parallel with the 13th anniversary of Brigadier General Ali Sayyad Shirazi’s assassination. The work includes a select part of the commander’s life and a number of short memories about Sepah and army war victims like martyred commanders Hassan Abshenasan, Seyyed Nasrollah Asiaei, Masoud Monfared Niaki, Hamid Bakeri, Hussein Kharazi, Mohammad Reza Dastvareh, Saeid Mohtadi Jafari and Ahmad Motavaselian.

A part of the memories about martyr Zabihollah Asizadeh reads as follows: “Asizadeh had brought about 30 loaders and bulldozers to work in the war zones and create shelters. While the machines were engaged with their doings, enemy tanks began to fire on them. Most of the loader drivers panicked and left their job before Asizadeh shielded one of the windows of one of the loaders and told the driver to finish his job which stimulated other drivers to get back to the zone.”

A total of 3000 copies of the book have been published in the Iranian book market.
