I hurried to him and hugged him so that I could calm him down and control his hands. I asked him, "What is the problem with you being so upset?" And he began to speak that his children were at home and that his wife was going to sell her ring to pay for the hospital's costs and so on. He got his home address and asked the friends to prepare a basket of goods as soon as possible and go to his house and console his family, and in this way, this person's perspective was changed.

Oral History of 40 Years

One of the main hypotheses regarding the reason for the growth and expansion of oral history in the modern era relates to the fact that oral history is the best tool for addressing lesser-known topics of contemporary history. Omissions in the Editing of Oral History

After the completion of interview sessions, the original recordings are archived, the interviews are transcribed, proofread, and re-listened to. If the material possesses the qualities required for publication in the form of an article or a book, the editing process must begin. In general, understanding a verbatim transcription of an interview is often not straightforward and requires editing so that it may be transformed into a fluent, well-documented text that is easy to comprehend.

This concept may manifest in material forms, abstract notions, and even human emotions and lived experiences. In other words, an object encompasses a vast spectrum of beings and phenomena, each endowed with particular attributes and characteristics, and apprehensible in diverse modalities.
