  • In the presence of the Managing Director of the Iranian Book and Literature House, the director of the Research Institute of Contemporary History, the secretary, the winners, referees and members of the media at the Research Institute of Culture, Art and Architecture, the closing ceremony of the first award of "The History of the Islamic Revolution Book" was held. In the oral history section of the ceremony, "Memoirs and struggles of Ayatollah Falsafi" by Mohammad Rajabi and Mohammad Hassan Rajabi, "Memoirs and struggles of Shahid Mahallati" by Alireza Kamri and "Memoirs of Ayatollah Mohammad Javad Hojjati-Kermani" from Imam Khomeini Publishing House won the first to third places.
  • In the presence of Mohammad Javad Azari Jahromi, Minister of Communications; Ahmad Masjed Jaamei, member of the Islamic Council of Tehran and former Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance; Seyyed Mahmoud Doaei, Managing Director of the Ettela'at Newspaper, and Nasrullah Jahangard, Special Assistant to the President for E-Government, unveiled the first volume of the ten-volume collection of The Oral History of the Ministry of Communications at the Gooya House of Art and Culture.
  • In accordance with carrying out the Iranian Sports’ Oral History Projects, a three-hour interview was done with Mohammad Ahanchi, one of the directors of Iranian sports during 1950s-1960s and author of Iran in the Olympic Games, in the presence of Ebrahim Afshar and Hossein Sabti.

In this regard, Dr. Habib Honari, the project manager of the Oral history of the Physical Education Organization and the Ministry of Sports and Youth, talked and interviewed with Dr. Seyyed Nasrallah Sajjadi and Seyyed Amir Hosseini. Furthermore, in order to review the Iranian Football Oral History, Dr. Habibollah Esmaili has interviewed with Ghafour Jahani, the veteran of Iranian Football.

Also, Mansour Borjian and Qassem Kordbacheh, two veterans of disabled sitting volleyball and national volleyball, Dr. Mohammad Ahanchi, experienced director of Iranian sports, Hassan Roshan, football veteran, Dr. Farideh Hadavi, former player of Iran's women's national basketball team, Seyyed Yousef Mousavi Nasab and Kamran Zare, two Paralympic veterans, Mohammad Reza Dehkhoda, Ahmad Heidari and Mohammad Reza Mazloumi, Nasrollah Sajjadi and Amir Hosseini, veterans and experts in sports education, as well as Dr. Keikavous Saeidi, Secretary General of the National Olympic Committee were interviewed.

  • On the occasion of the forty-second anniversary of the Islamic Revolution Victory and in order to acquaint people with the roots of the Islamic Revolution, a series of discussions with Manouchehr Amiri Moghaddam, a researcher and historian, has been compiled and published in cyberspace.
  • The Foundation of Martyrs and Veterans of Shahroud conducted television interviews and recorded the memories of the martyrs’ parents of Shahroud and Damghan, through coordination with the provincial radio and television to collect, preserve, and publish the memories related to the martyrs.
  • The online workshop of "The Standards for Various Types of Oral History Essays" was held on Monday, March 1 and Wednesday, March 3, with the presence of Morteza Nouraei, a university professor.
  • “The oral history of Gilan has a lot to say about the eight years of holy defense, which have not yet been properly addressed.” Director General for preserving and publishing holy defense works and values of Gilan stated at the closing ceremony of the two Festivals of ‘Sustainability Poetry’ and ‘Yousef Literary Award’ in Rasht.
  • In the presence of authorities in Rasht, the unveiling ceremony of We Grew Up in the War, which is the oral history and memoirs of Sardar Hojjat Heydari, written by Kamran Saharkhiz, was held.
  • The head of the Sustainability Literature of Hozeh Honari in East Azarbaijan announced the production of three books in a series of project-based workshops on oral history and memoirs in Tabriz. He stated that the purpose of holding these workshops is to identify specialized persons for the production of sustainability literature books.
  • Among the Indians – oral history of the visit of several members of the Justice Movement to Bolivia- was unveiled at the 44th General Assembly of the Student Justice Movement Union.
  • The Director General for preserving and publishing holy defense works and values of Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad requested the various departments, organizations and institutions of the province to collect and record the oral history of the families of martyrs and veterans.
  • Pointing the necessary plans have been made to hold a glorious ceremony in honor of the martyrs of Zanjan province, the commander of the Ansar al-Mahdi Corps (AS) clarified, ‘In this regard, 344,959 documents, 248,622 photographs, 89 hours videos of the Holy Defense Fronts, 112 hours cassette tapes, 576 hours oral history in audio and video form, and 4,199 negatives were collected and submitted to the secretariat of the congress.
  • The meeting of the Coordination Council for preserving and publishing holy defense works and values of Golestan Province was held and it was decided that the oral history of 680 veteran employees of the province to be compiled next year.
  • ‘In 2021, the oral history of nearly 700 warriors, martyrs and veterans of the province will be collected.’ the governor of Golestan said.
  • In an interview with the IRNA Iranian Oral Media History Project, Bahman Komeilizade, veteran reporter of IRNA, told about his professional activities during the Shah’s regime, the Islamic Revolution and the war.
  • The Waves of Wills, memoirs of Iranian power and will to self-sufficiency and progress, was published by Raahyar Publications. This book is the first of the Rahyar Publications collection books in the field of oral history of "Advanced Iran".
  • Majid Deldozi, a writer in the field of revolution who had published two books on the oral history of the visual arts of the Islamic Revolution, passed away. Plain Color and The Revolution of Colors; Oral Memoirs of Alireza Khaleghi are of prominent works of this Tabrizi author.

Tabas Fog

Ebham-e Tabas: Ramzgoshayi az ja’beh siah-e tahajom nezami Amrika (Tabas Fog: Decoding the Black Box of the U.S. Military Invasion) is the title of a recently published book by Shadab Asgari. After the Islamic Revolution, on November 4, 1979, students seized the US embassy in Tehran and a number of US diplomats were imprisoned. The US army carried out “Tabas Operation” or “Eagle’s Claw” in Iran on April 24, 1980, ostensibly to free these diplomats, but it failed.
