On Thursday, October 22, 2020, the "Specialized Workshop on Oral History of Sacred Defense" was held by the Document Management Department of the General Directorate of Foundation for Preserving and Publishing Sacred Defense Works and Values of Khorasan Razavi and the Directorate of Preserving and Publishing Values of Women's Participation in Sacred Defense with the presence of a group of people interested in working in this field at the General Office of the Foundation for Preserving and Publishing Sacred Defense Works and Values of Khorasan Razavi.

In the published news, the report of this workshop is stated as follows: "Abolfazl Hassanebadi, one of the experienced professors in the field of oral history, presented the plan of lessons, such as compiling oral history, how to interview, basic concepts of oral history and the pathology of oral history."

Following that, Dr. Morteza Nouraei, a professor at the University of Isfahan and the new editor of a specialized journal of oral history, wrote a remark on this news on the social medias related to the oral history. Since this case has been seen in conversations or workshops for several years, it can be considered as an educational point.

Morteza Nouraei wrote on November 3, 2016: "Intimacy in dynamic interviewing is the key to the prosperity of challenging interviews or the oral history. But this intimacy in turning the common and agreed-upon terms of science, causes the curvature in the backbone of science, and provides deviation in mind and work little by little. The terminology of science is a representation of attitudes and specialized, technical, and professional writings. In this field, especially specialists are constantly paying attention to delicacies everywhere. At the same time, it can be seen that, for example, they wrote for a dynamic interview: ‘the interviewing of interview will be "conducted"!’ Precisely in this phrase, the objectivity of the pressure on the narrator can be seen from all sides, like a juicer. It is advisable to appreciate oral history and to avoid creating confusing and complicated terms."

Clarifying the Current Situation; Perspectives of the Oral History Website

The definition of a “journalist” and the profession of “journalism” is not limited to simply “gathering,” “editing,” and “publishing breaking news.” Such an approach aligns more with the work done in news agencies and news websites. But now, after years of working in the field of books for various news agencies, newspapers, and magazines, when I look back, I realize that producing and compiling content for ...
