Becoming Familiar with Mr. Mohammad Reza Bairami in the Second “A Night with the Author” September 30, 2019

According to the Iranian Oral History Website, the second program of "A Night with the Author2: Honoring Ceremony of Mohammad Reza Bairami" was held by ‘Bureau of Studies and Research in Resistance Culture and Literature’ on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at Mehr Hall of Hozeh Honari.

Two short documentaries about Mohammad Reza Bairami, the author, were played and the speakers talked about his personality and works. Speakers included Mohsen Momeni Sharif, head of Hozeh Honari, and writers, Ahmad Dehghan and Hossein Fatahi. They also shared memories of how they got acquainted with Mohammad Reza Bairami.

At the end of the second program of "A Night with the Author", Hozeh Honari, Bureau of Studies and Research in Resistance Culture and Literature, Foundation for Iranian Poetry and Literature, and ‘Neistan’ and ‘Shahrestan Adab’ publications appreciated Mohammad Reza Bairami, whose works have always served the values of the Islamic Revolution and the Sacred Defense and his creative endeavors were in line with creating lasting and valuable stories and novels.

Coinciding with the second program of "A Night with the Author", the special book of this event, A Night with the Author2: Mohammad Reza Bairami, which was produced in Bureau of Studies and Research in Resistance Culture and Literature, published by Soore Mehr Publications. This 151-page book has been compiled by Masoud Amirkhani and includes works of Mohammad Reza Bairami, Ahmad Dehghan, Seyyed Mahdi Shojaei, Majid Gheisari, Ibrahim Hassanbeigi, Mostafa Rahimi, Abdolmajid Najafi, Shahriar Alvandi, Zahra Heidari and Farahnaz Alizadeh.

For this book, Bairami has written an autobiography of those years when he has been living in a village, relying on what he has heard and seen. Then a list of his works is introduced; and after that, you read a review of his works written by Farahnaz Alizadeh, Zahra Heidari and Mostafa Rahimi. ‘Among the critiques’ and ‘list of works reviewed in academic circles’ are the titles of following chapters. ‘Friends’ Notes’ is the last chapter of the book which includes notes written by Abdolmajid Najafi, Shahriar Alvandi, Ibrahim Hassanbeigi, Majid Gheisari, Seyyed Mahdi Shojaei and Ahmad Dehghan. References to how they became acquainted with Bairami and his writing style was seen in the contents of these notes.
