During the eight years of Sacred Defense, people who were from different area of country went to war against Saddam's army. Residents of Hoveyzeh were also along with the people. They were not quiet and calm when Saddam's army entered into Hoveyzeh and occupied the city in 1359, so they planned to drive out Iraqis. Their campaign, especially the efforts of Sayed Hussein Alam al-Hoda commander of Hoveyzeh army (Iranian Revolutionary Guards), is a subject selected by Hoveyzeh publication for this collection. This is about publishing the series of books.

 

The books “Cry and Silence"

One of the books that have been published by Hoveyzeh publication is about martyr Sayed Hussein Alam al-Hoda. Hussein Alam al-Hoda was commander of Hoveizeh army that his letters and manuscripts are accessible for contacts in the book “Cry and silence”. The book “Cry and Silence” consists of two parts. The first part is dedicated to the martyr’s letters in which five letters are provided. The contents of this part includes letters to the sisters, a writing for the his torturer, sentence of one of the twenty two regions of Resistance Headquarters of Ahwaz mosques and his report in the Hoveyzeh army post to Khuzestan Iranian Revolutionary Guards, doctor Chamran and Ayatollah Khamenei (the representative of Imam Khomeini  in the Supreme Defense Council). In the first part and after reading letters, morality of the martyr Alam al-Hoda, who is interested in the research and study, can be realized. Each of the letters in this part shows his personality well and although they are formed as a letters, but act as oral history and information from those days.

 

The second part of book “Cry and Silence” is dedicated to the martyr's manuscripts that includes of 6 writings. Each of these writings as the first part contains an introduction that provides more information about each writings. Available endnotes have been exactly developed in the book for this purpose that contacts learn more information about events, places and people in addition to personality and behavior of martyr Alam al-Hoda.

Manuscripts of the second part of the book are presented in two contexts; the manuscripts are both literary texts (e.g. fourth manuscripts) that are resulted from author’s heart, and provide information about the people who have been martyred.

The book “Cry and Silence” is adjusted by Sayed Hamid Alam al-Hoda.

 

The book “Sayed Hussein”

“Sayed Hussein” is another book devoted to memories of martyr Sayed Hussein Alam al-Hoda.  Life Events Calendar of martyr Alam al-Hoda, childhood and adolescence, a militant student, a revolutionary guard, martyrdom and endnotes are titles of this book. Except the opening and closing parts, some memories of different periods of life of martyr Alam al-Hoda are expressed by different people in each of these parts that introduces the martyr’s personality.

The book “Sayed Hussein” also includes of 4 attachments. A letter from Alam al-Hoda Syed Hussain to her sister Sadiqeh on the subject Iqbal Lahouri, A letter from Alam al-Hoda Syed Hussain to her sister Zohreh on the subject Iqbal Lahouri. Ayatollah Khamenei's remarks in a meeting with people of Dasht Azadegan in Hoveyzeh´s martyr burial ground and martyr Alam al-Hoda are contents of these four attachments. Authors of these books are Syed Hamid Alam al-Hoda and Mahmoud Motaharinia.

 

The booklet "Dey 16th

In the date of Dey 15th in 1359 (05/ journey/ 1981), operation was done for the liberation of southern area of Ahwaz in the geographic field of Hoveyzeh and Jafir desert that Hussein Alam al-Hoda was in particular charge to  design and implement of it. The second stage of operation also began on January 16th at 8 am that it was continued until at 4 pm o’clock. In this battle, about 140 people were killed and it is cited as an epic.   Interview and speech of Ayatollah Khomeini are mentioned in the booklet “Dey 16th” about martyrs of Hoveyzeh. Introduction, interview with T.V group of Iranian Revolutionary Guards for anniversary of Hoveyzeh´s epic, speech at Tehran University's mosque, Friday Prayers sermon and speech in Martyrs’ burial ground of Hoveyzeh are different parts of this booklet.

 

A pilgrimage with knowledge of Hoveyzeh

The books, that published by the Publication of  Hoveyzeh about martyrs of Hoveyzeh, are also consisted of a brochure as pilgrimage with knowledge of Hoveyzeh. The brochure, that it is started by words of Ayatollah Khamenei about the martyr Hussein Alam al-Hoda, is included of some writing such as self- writing about Hoveyzeh, information about the geography and epic of people in the liberation of the city captured by Saddam´s military forces. Other sections of this booklet are dedicated to the memories of the city's stability and permanence. A self-writing of the martyr Sayed Hussein Alam al-Hoda who was responsible for commander of Hoveyzeh titled "I'm in the bulwark, in this house" is also included in this brochure.

 

 The epic of Hoveyzeh

The epic of Hoveyzeh is another book of Hoveyzeh publication. In this book, presence of combative in the operation narrated to free Hoveyzeh. Enthusiasm of Hoveyzeh combatives to participate in the liberation operations is one of the themes of the book. The combatives become a martyr with their desire. The name of the martyr Seyed Hossein Alam al-Hoda can be seen on different pages in the epic of Hoveyzeh. This book also shows people's resistance of Hoveyzeh and different villages that had been occupied by Saddam's forces.

The epic of Hoveyzeh, which was held in the first election of best book of year by the Foundation for Preservation of Sacred Defense Works and Values of Sacred Defense, was appreciated and Nosratollah Mahmoodzadeh is entitled as epic writer of war frontage.
