The book "From Aras to Zagros," a collection of prison writings by Hossein Qoli Khan Rostam Mamasani, on the topic of Iran’s oral history, was unveiled on Sunday, March 30, in Rostam County. This 644-page book was published in 2024 by Negah Publications and is priced at 750,000 tomans.

The head of the Lorestan Art Center announced the establishment of the "Moon Narrating House" aimed at promoting oral history, memoir writing, and narrative storytelling in the province.

The book "Oral History of the Mosques of Shahr-e Kord," focusing on the role of the people of Shahr-e Kord in critical historical moments and the Islamic movement, was unveiled on April 8 at the office of the Supreme Leader’s representative and Shahr-e Kord’s prayer leader.

The members of the Oral History Workgroup of the Foundation for Preserving the Works and Propagating the Values of the Holy Defense in Amol County, visited and spoke with the families of martyrs Saeed Asghari, Abbas Ali Nowruzi Hendokla, and Seyyed Akbar Hosseini Arjomandi Darvishkheil.

The Director of Literature and Oral History at the Foundation for Preserving the Works and Propagating the Values of the Holy Defence in Hamedan stated that the goal last year was to publish 60 titles, but they successfully released 64 books in areas including oral history, children and youth literature, oral memoirs, documentary writing, and research.

The Document Research Center of the National Library and Archives of Iran held a specialized roundtable titled “Interviewing in Oral History” on the morning of Tuesday, April 14, with participation from scholars and researchers in the field.

The Director of the Foundation for Preserving the Works and Propagating the Values of the Holy Defence in Khuzestan stated that close cooperation with universities is needed in fields such as oral history, descriptive history, book publishing, Holy Defence encyclopaedias, and religious and cultural education related to the Holy Defence.

The Head of the Islamic Revolution Art Center in Ilam Province reported that 1,500 entries were submitted to the “Gunpowder Smiles” Festival, indicating the strong interest of Ilam’s students in engaging with oral history related to the Holy Defence.

A collection of articles accepted for the Fourth National Conference on the Oral History of the Holy Defence and Resistance has been indexed on CIVILICA and ISC platforms.
