Sixteen Topics for article of 12th Iranian Oral History Conference

According to the Oral History website of Iran, the forth announcement for ‘The 12th Iranian Oral History Conference’ was jointly released by the Oral History Association of Iran, the University of Isfahan and the General Director of Veteran Affairs of the Ministry of Agriculture- Jahad.

The announcement stated that the deadline for submitting abstract of articles has been extended to August 20, 2019, according to the latest approval of policy-making council meeting of the 12th Iranian Oral History Conference. The deadline for submitting the articles is September 22, 2019. Also, sixteen topics has been suggested for interested persons and pundits which are as follows:

 

  1. Strategies for Oral History Problemology of Jihad Battle Support and Engineering.
  2. The Role of Theories of Science History in Oral History Approaches of Jihad Battle Engineering.
  3. Historical course of Jihad of Construction in Oral History.
  4. The Role of Recording Events in Generating Data of Oral History of Battle Engineering.
  5. The Role of Oral History of Jihad Battle Engineering in Explaining Opportunities and Threats in the National Industry.
  6. Historical Process, Structures and Production Processes of Works in Oral History of Jihad of Construction Battle Engineering.
  7. Prerequisites and Scientific Approaches and Required Specialties for Producers and Writers of Oral History of Jihad Battle Engineering.
  8. The Role of Content Study in Literary Works of Jihad Battle in Production of Works of Jihad Battle Oral History.
  9. The Place of Archival System and Recording Procedures of Oral History Works of Jihad Battle Support and Engineering in the Oral History of Engineering System.
  10.  The Quantitative and Qualitative Place of Jihad Oral History Literature in Relation to the General Oral History of the Holy Defense.
  11.  Grounds, Needs and Capacities of Oral History of Battle Engineering in the Process of National Industry Developing.

  16. The Role of Oral History of Jihad of Construction Battle Engineering in the Preservation and Promotion of Social Capital of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

 

 

The 12th Oral History Conference of Iran, titled "The Oral History of Industry, Engineering and Support of Sacred Defense", is held in the following pivots related to "Jihad of Construction Battle Support and Engineering": 1. Administrative and Disciplinary affairs 2. Dispatch and Logistics 3. Industry, Innovations and Inventions 4. Documentation and Administrative Archives 5. Special Units of Sacred Defense in the Offices 6. Other Related Issues.

The conference will be held in autumn of 2019 in Faculty of Literature and Humanities of the University of Isfahan. The enthusiasts and experts are asked to submit their articles in ‘Microsoft Word’ file, preferably with the ‘Lotus’ font, through E-mail: Iranian.oha@gmail.com.

The 12th Oral History Conference of Iran will be held by the Oral History Association of Iran, the University of Isfahan and the General Director of Veteran Affairs of the Ministry of Agriculture- Jahad. It was announced that the History Department of the Isfahan University is responsible for holding the scientific part of the conference. Dr. Ali Akbar Kajbaf, a faculty member at the History Department of Isfahan University, has been selected as the secretary of the 12th Oral History Conference in Iran, and Dr. Morteza Nouraei, as the scientific secretary and Dr. Ali Akbar Jafari, as the executive secretary of the 12th Iranian Oral History Conference.

Reza in Revolution

Memoirs of Hujjat al-Islam Reza Motalebi

Hujjat al-Islam Reza Motalebi is a cleric from Isfahan. Before the revolution, he was the imam of the Fallah Mosque – which was later renamed Abuzar Mosque. By his presence and efforts, Abuzar Mosque soon became a base for supporters of the Imam and the revolution. After the victory of the revolution, he played a role in uniting forces and maintaining political vitality in southwest Tehran.

The Necessity of Receiving Feedback in Oral History

Whenever we engage in a task, we naturally seek ways to evaluate our performance — to correct shortcomings and enhance strengths. Such refinement is only possible through the feedback we receive from others. Consider, for instance, a basketball player whose shots are consistently accurate; should he begin shooting blindfolded, his success rate would rapidly decline, as he would be deprived of essential feedback from each attempt.

Sir Saeed

The book “Sir Saeed” is a documentary [narrative] of the life of martyr Seyyed Mohammad Saeed Jafari, written by Mohammad Mehdi Hemmati and published by Rahiyar Publications. In March 2024, this book was recognized as one of the selected documentary biographies in the 21st edition of the Sacred Defense Book of the Year Award.
