3rd Rank in The 5th International Digital Media Festival and Fair

The 5th International Digital Media Festival and Fair was held in Tehran from 6th to 15th of October 2011. Information Technology and Digital Media Development Center of Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance was the organizer of this feast and fair.

This feast had 9 parts, including Media Software, Cell phone Software, PC Games, Websites/Weblogs, Digital Arts, International, Cultural Centers Productions, Digital Media Production for Students and Research, and Technology in Digital Media.

On October 13th the list of winners of this feast and fair were announced. Iranian Oral History Website could achieve the 3rd rank in the group of websites which are active in Persian Literature and Script. In this group 72 website were nominated, larger than any other group.

Iranian Oral History began its work in 2007 along with the 4th Professional Conference of Iranian Oral History. This bilingual website (Persian-English) is sponsored by The Center of Resistance Culture and Literature Studies and Researches. Mr. Mohsen Kazemi, the prominent Iranian Oral Historian is the founder and the first editor of this website. In 2010 Iranian Oral History Online Weekly started its work as a weekly newsletter of this site with the management of Mr. Morteza Sarhangi and editorship of Mr. Kazemi. Right now Mr. Mohammad Karimi is the editor of this website and online weekly.

Tohid Niknami is the designer of this website. Previously, he has designed Douran online weekly, and the website of Institute of Political Researches and Studies which have won honoring diploma respectively in the 1st and 2nd International Digital Media Festival and Fair.
