►The poster of the fourth national oral history conference was unveiled. This February conference will be held this year with the cooperation of the Organization of Documents of the Holy Defense and the Research Institute of Documents in the Organization of Documents and the National Library of Iran. The main themes of the conference include analysis and criticism of published works, editing, and publishing methods in the oral history of holy defense. Also, the conference secretariat welcomes articles related to theoretical foundations, developmental and applied approaches, and presentation of experiences and case studies.

Those who are interested can send their works to hamayesh@defadocs.ir until the 21st of December 2024.

 

► The General Director of Preservation and Publication of the Values ​​of the Holy Defense of Mazandaran announced the documentation of 4 documentary works and the oral history of the Holy Defense of Education in Mazandaran province this year.

 

►The secretary of the children's and teenagers' film festival said: compilation of the oral history of the children's and teenagers' film festival is on the agenda.

►The book "Narrative of Health" on the subject of oral history of Iranian health was unveiled in the presence of the Minister of Health and the President of the Academy of Medical Sciences.

 

►The head of cultural, social and sports organization of Qom municipality announced the publication of the oral history book of Qom neighborhoods.

 

►The head of the Institute for editing and publishing the works of Imam Khomeini (PBUH) said: In addition to the works of the Imam we published more than 1,200 books about Imam and analytical, descriptive works and memories of him, as well as oral history.

 

► Director General of Preservation of Sacred Values ​​and Publication of Semnan said: 35 books were published in the field of sacred defense in different formats including memory, story, poetry, research, analysis and oral history in 2024.

Memoirs of Hujjat al-Islam Reza Motalebi

Hujjat al-Islam Reza Motalebi is a cleric from Isfahan. Before the revolution, he was the imam of the Fallah Mosque – which was later renamed Abuzar Mosque. By his presence and efforts, Abuzar Mosque soon became a base for supporters of the Imam and the revolution. After the victory of the revolution, he played a role in uniting forces and maintaining political vitality in southwest Tehran.

The Necessity of Receiving Feedback in Oral History

Whenever we engage in a task, we naturally seek ways to evaluate our performance — to correct shortcomings and enhance strengths. Such refinement is only possible through the feedback we receive from others. Consider, for instance, a basketball player whose shots are consistently accurate; should he begin shooting blindfolded, his success rate would rapidly decline, as he would be deprived of essential feedback from each attempt.

Sir Saeed

The book “Sir Saeed” is a documentary [narrative] of the life of martyr Seyyed Mohammad Saeed Jafari, written by Mohammad Mehdi Hemmati and published by Rahiyar Publications. In March 2024, this book was recognized as one of the selected documentary biographies in the 21st edition of the Sacred Defense Book of the Year Award. Morteza Tavakoli Narrates Student Activities

I am from Isfahan, born in 1336 (1957). I entered Mashhad University with a bag of fiery feelings and a desire for rights and freedom.
