  • The unveiling ceremony of the Iranian Sports Oral History was held on February 21, 2022, at the National Olympic Academy. Mohammad Poladgar, Vice-president of Championship Sports, Reza Salehi Amiri, president of the National Olympic Committee, Mohammad Reza Davarzani, Mostafa Hashemi Taba, Keikavous Saeedi were among the participants in this ceremony. Eighteen books on the oral history of Iranian sports were unveiled at this ceremony.
  • Referring to the execution of the second phase of the "Oral History of Martyrs' Parents" project in Lorestan, The director-general of the Lorestan Foundation of Martyrs and Veterans said: "At this stage, the memories of 220 martyrs' parents will be recorded during Shohada Week."

  • The skill of making dolls in the Alulak village of Qazvin has been registered as an intangible work in the list of national monuments of Iran, which plays an effective role in conveying the oral and cultural history of the region and preserving and reviving this forgotten art and skill.

  • The unveiling ceremony of the 7-volume Oral History of One Hundred Years of Children and Adolescent Theater in Iran was held.

  • The general director of Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Foundation for the Preservation and Publication of Sacred Defense Works and Values said: "During the last year, about 40 holy defense books in the field of memories, biography, stories, oral history, poetry, children, documentary, etc. were published and released in Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad."
  • The general director of the Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Foundation of Martyrs and Veterans stated: "Holding oral history training courses is an inevitable necessity. We can witness the creation of better and higher quality works in the future by empowering authors in this field."

Book Review

Kak-e Khak

The book “Kak-e Khak” is the narration of Mohammad Reza Ahmadi (Haj Habib), a commander in Kurdistan fronts. It has been published by Sarv-e Sorkh Publications in 500 copies in spring of 1400 (2022) and in 574 pages. Fatemeh Ghanbari has edited the book and the interview was conducted with the cooperation of Hossein Zahmatkesh.

Is oral history the words of people who have not been seen?

Some are of the view that oral history is useful because it is the words of people who have not been seen. It is meant by people who have not been seen, those who have not had any title or position. If we look at oral history from this point of view, it will be objected why the oral memories of famous people such as revolutionary leaders or war commanders are compiled.
