'Well-Equipped Division'in book market

The book “Well-Equipped Division” which consists of the memoirs of Reza Nik Ayeen, a technical force in the Logistics Staff of the Iraqi imposed war against Iran has been compiled by Saeed Alamian and published with the contribution of The Organization of Preserving and Publishing the Values of the Sacred Defense of The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), Basij [voluntary forces] (Fatehan Publication) and the Guilds Basij, Iranian Oral History website reported.
When the imposed war started, several branches of the war’s Logistics Staff were launched and administered by the Guilds Union, the sellers of goods and clothes, and technical and mechanical affairs with the help of different strata of people. One of the strata involved in the staff was the forces who went to the war front for repairing military equipment, vehicles, ambulances, boats, tanks, engines, etc.
Reza Nik Ayeen was one of the same forces who left for the front in order to make familiar with technical affairs and to repair machinery.  He was born in the village of Kouhpayeh in Isfahan Province in 1929. He left home for Tehran in 1961 and was involved in campaign of the guilds against the Pahlavi regime. Nik Ayeen has lots of memories about the event of June 4, 1963 – during which many people were martyred by the regime forces – as well as his presence in the Islamic Revolution Committee. As the war started, the people helped the war front as much as they could afford, and he thought to join the logistics. He started his work by repairing military vehicles in a military base in southern Tehran. Then, he set up a group along with several others of his friends who were familiar with technical and mechanical affairs to depart for the war fronts to help the Islamic combatants. They repaired out-of-service machinery and vehicles in order not to leave the combatants alone. Later, a number of these forces including Reza Nik Ayeen were employed in IRGC. The group was involved in other important tasks like designing part of the body of 160mm and 120mm mortars and speed boats. They were always ready to repair IRGC and the army’s machinery and spared no efforts in this way.
The book “Well Equipped Division” has been published in 195 pages with an initial printing of 3000 copies with the contribution of Brigadier General Majid Mashayekhi, the head of the Guilds Basij and by The Organization of Preserving and Publishing the Values of the Sacred Defense of The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), and Basij (Fatehan Publication).
About the book, Saeed Alamian says: “Eight years of the Iraqi imposed war against Iran continued with the support of the people. The war’s popularity is obvious for all. The book is the result of 22 hours of oral interview with Nik Ayeen. In Nik Ayeen’s memories, the popularity of the sacred defense is tangible. The narrator’s tone and words has been kept in the book. However, some necessary points for the readers have been mentioned in the footnote.”
