8 new books on history of Iran

Head of Document Center of Iran Parliament announced further publication of eight research works on the history of parliament and constitution in Iran. Four of the books are estimated to be presented at Tehran Book Fair.
IBNA: Ali Tatari, director and evaluation council''s secretary of Document Center of Iran Parliament told IBNA of the compilation of eight new books for the present year. "We have planned for new compilations on the history of parliament and constitution in Iran so that existing documents at Majlis library will be available for all researchers."
Illuminating on dark spots of contemporary history of Iran is another goal of publishing analytical research books based on documents, he added; "We pursue multiple goals at the Documents Center of the parliament among which is clarifying the 105-year history of the parliament and democracy in Iran. We find our duty to publish all documents related to the parliament for easier access of all researchers."
He continued: "The center has passed busy and successful time in the last days of the past year as well as in the new year''s primary days the center as now eight research plans – whose publication contract had been inked during 2010 and 2011 – are now under publication."
Tatari asserted that the collection will be released soon having passed scientific evaluations and final assessment.
He also mentioned the geographical diversity of researches: "Some of the plans focus on areas like Kurdistan, Arak, and even Tehran and we hope to encourage more researchers and students to make further studies in this field."
"Docusments of Kurdistan from the 2nd to 5th rounds of the National Parliament" by Esmaeil Shams, "Documents of Yazd during the Constitutional Period" by Ahmad Mozaffar-Maqam, "Documents of Clergy MPs during 7th to 9th rounds of the National Parliament" by Farinaz Motesharei and Neda Shahmari, and "Documents of Arak (Sultan-Abad)" by Asadollah Abdoli Ashtiani are some of these books.
According to Tatari, documents of Azerbaijan''s democratic fraction by Hadi Hashemian, documents of Tehran Parliament Elections by Gholamreza Salami, documents of Qom for 2nd – 6th rounds of Natinola Parliament by Seyyed-Mohammad Mohammadi, and documents of Astarabad by Mostafa Noori are other volumes to be released in the future.
Four of the books are estimated to be presented at Tehran Book Fair.
The 25th Tehran International Book Fair will be held from May 2 to 12, 2012 at Grand Imam Khomeini Mosalla of Tehran.
