January 20: QQML 2012 deadline for works submission

The 4th Qualitative and Quantitative Methods in Libraries International Conference (QQML2012) has invited, abstracts, posters and workshops. The abstracts will be submitted to the conference's secretariat by January 20, 2012.

IBNA: The conference is slated for May 22 to 25, 2012 in Ireland's Limerick.

Aimed at formation of a framework for presentation of the latest developments and achievements of librarianship and dissemination of information about applied programs and research projects, the conference officially had its first edition held in 2009.

The former editions of the conference were held successfully and many of the presented articles were published in credited journals and books.

Papers are invited for this international conference. The conference will consider, but not be limited to, the following indicative themes:
Advocacy, networking and influencing: methodologies for building the evidence base in library and information services (LIS(, Balanced Scorecard tools in libraries Bibliometrics, Change of Libraries and the Managerial Techniques, Conceptual and Organizational Perspectives of Knowledge Communication, Copyright and licensing, etc.
