Book reveals Docs on Iran Novin Party

A book has been published by the Republic Iran Publications and the Book House Institute revealing documents about the Iran Novin Party or the New Iran Party.

IBNA: The work entails 87 historically approved documents about the activities and measures by the leaders of the party in Iran and their party gatherings.

Compiled by Iraj Mohammadi, Saeid Hesari and Babak Ghiasian, the book presents scanned copies of the documents and discusses the interior layers of the political parities prior to the victory of the Islamic Revolution.

A part of the introduction of the book reads as follows: “Political parties in Iran begot the Constitutional Revolution. As the revolution was born immature, its generator suffered the same malady. After the bombardment of the parliament and formation of the second parliament, the two parties of Etedalion and Ejtemaiyoon Amiyoon were created. The contrast between the two parties finally eliminated both.”

The book is an effort to sketch the role of political parties in the Pahlavi dynasty, specifically under Mohammad Reza Shah.

Arranged in 397 pages, the book is published by the Book House and the Republic Iran Publications.

If we look at oral history from this point of view, it will be objected why the oral memories of famous people such as revolutionary leaders or war commanders are compiled.
