In the early 1340s[1], the first steps has been taken to establish gas facilities in Khangiran, Sarakhs; Then, the executive operation of Khangiran gas refinery started in 1975 and stopped in 1978 due to the victory of the Islamic Revolution. Finally, it was put into operation with a three-year break on February 9, 1984, and up to present nine engineers were in charge of management of the refining company.

The book Oral History: Bidding System of Shahid Hasheminejad Gas Refining Company (Khangiran), written by Seyyed Ali Mazinani, Gholam Hossein Noei and Moloud Isaei, was published in the fall of 2019 by Mirase Katibeh Shieh Press, in a circulation of 1000 copies and at a price of 25,000 Tomans.

Except this book, the authors have done research and studies in the field of oral history; for example, the book On the Service Rail: History of First Line of Mashhad Urban Railway can be mentioned. The authors have conducted about 52 hours of interviews with 31 key personalities of the bidding system, while studying 1182 documents from the archives of the secretariat.

This book is compiled in four general parts and several chapters. Part one: An overview of the history of Shahid Hasheminejad Gas Refining Company (Khangiran). In this section, a brief history of how the gas originated and the measures taken for refining are given.

The second part is devoted to the paper age, individual biddings and quantitative. The most important issues presented is the emergence of the company's biddings system and the expansion the scope of biddings system. In the third part, the computer age, the biddings system and quality orientation are discussed. The content is divided into 10 chapters: upgrading the bidding system, software entry and upgrade, individual biddings, training and exchange of experience, etc. The fourth part is entitled "The artist will be appreciated and will be at top". The most important contents of this section is a summary of conference and national festival of the biddings system and awards.

In the introduction of the book, engineer Seyyed Majid Monabati, CEO of Shahid Hasheminejad Gas Refining Company, while explaining the bidding system, believes that: the bidding system is a dynamic and questioning polling mechanism which tries to receive the smallest solutions to improve current processes from each member and each class and then interfere them in the fate of company. Today, with the publication of Oral History: The Bidding System, we have not aimed to just offer our trend to the newcomers in this field. In fact, we intend to draw attentions to concerns such as the need to remove this system from the limited monopoly of the governing apparatus and its establishment in all aspects of society, linking this individualization system, dynamic polling and questioning with issues such as sanctions, resistance economy, knowledge-based companies and drawing global domains for bidding systems in the emergence of our country.

In the afterword, the authors pointed that this book was compiled of interviews and documents of 14 years of life of about 300 volunteer employees of the bidding system. Any people who better codify these experiences and reflections will excel and be exemplified among other peoples in terms of knowledge and science.

An Exceptional Haft‑Seen Table

I wanted to celebrate the new year with my family. Together with two relief workers I boarded buses designated for transporting the wounded to Choubideh and received our mission orders. We waited for a helicopter to take us to Bandar Imam Khomeini. I was stationed near the helicopter’s touchdown zone and was slight in build. As the helicopter was about to land, I could not steady myself; the breeze generated by the rotor blades lifted me off the ground.
