Contemporary Historiography schools
The Latest Issue of “The Month Book of History and Geography" with the approach of "Contemporary Historiography schools” was published. This professional monthly explores important trends and schools of West Historiography, and has been released by the efforts of Book House Institute.
IBNA: In the editorial of Month book of History and Geography, we read "A Review on the trends and major schools of West Historiography” written by Dr. Alirez Malaei Tavani; a faculty member of the History Department of Orumieh University.
Malaei has written: History cannot remain dismissed of spirit splashes and philosophical thinking, and a historian explores unintentionally wisdom and philosophy, and this is the case at micro and macro level, i.e. the theoretical philosophy of history.
In the interview part of Contemporary Iran Historiography Schools; there is a conversation with Dr. Daryoush Rahmanian, a History Department faculty member of Tehran University and Dr. Mohammad Saeid Zokaei, Social Sciences Department faculty member of Allameh Tabatabai University.
Rahmanian said, in analyzing knowledge and science of history and in general, studying humanities; the words, terms, expressions and interpretations are not used so carefully as needed, thus it sometimes leads to a kind of verbal warfare
Dr. Zokaei also believes that, the existed conflicts in defining “School”, is seen in other fields of social sciences as well. In Sociology, the border between approach and paradigm tradition, both in terms of epistemology and theory and analysis is also quite confusing.
In the views section, the “Research Method in History”, written by Dr. Sattar Uodi,” Era Making in History”, written by Kamran Aravan and “The study of Islamic Revolution History opines” by Jacob Tavakolli has been written accordingly.
“French Historiography School”, by Javad Morshedlu, ”The Trends of History and Historiography in the Muslim world", by Dr. Abbas Panahi, ”Azerbaijan and Armenia Landowning”, by Dr. Muhammad Nayebpour,”Islamic civilization History”, by Reza Safari and “A Criticism on a Textbook”, written by Firouz Azadi, are introduced in the exploring sections of Month Book of History and Geography, the monthly as well.
In the Reflection part also,” History in the Modernity Tour”, by Marzieh. Soleimani,” A Romans Reading of Alexander the Macedonian”, from Nematolah AliMohammadi, “Darwish Gharib’s Itinerary”, by Afshin Ma’shouri, and “The Emergence of Human’, written by Alireza Soleymanzadeh are available.
In the Permanent Memorials section, which is another part of the professional monthly; it explores “Tabriz Treasury”, written by Rahim Nikbakht; and “Karaseh-Al Mo’ay”, worked by Manijeh Sadri; and also in the historians’ section “Benakti and Mogul’s Historians” written by Edalat Ezatpour.
In the Effort Lights section of the magazine, the” Nezami Matrqizadeh’s Itinerary”, written by Jamal Razmjou, and Dar-Alfonoun, worked by Anvar Khalandi have also been tried.
This Same Month, Short news, Others Souvenir, History Counter, index and English Abstract, forms the ending of the professional Magazine.

I registered for Konkour (university entrance exam), following the conclusion of high school. I was accepted into Tehran’s polytechnic (Amirkabir) university and began to study chemical and petrochemical engineering. There was a building named Jordan in the faculty in which religious students had prepared a small room as a house of prayer and did the noon and afternoon prayers in there.
