►The book “Beyond the Wall,” the memoirs of Habibollah Bitarf, one of the three original thinkers behind the capture of the US embassy, was published by Soure Mehr Publications with 232 pages.
► The book “Aideh,” which narrates the life of Aideh Sarwar, the mother of martyr Ali Abbas Ismael, a member of Hezbollah in Lebanon, was published by the Art and Literature Office of the Islamic Revolution Art School.
►A one-day workshop on interview techniques in compiling books on the oral history of the Sacred Defense was held by the Ilam Art School with the presence of Ms. Mahnaz Fattahi, author of the book “Farangis.”
►The book “The Narrative of the Oral History of the Sacred Defense”; Hossein Bagheri's narration was prepared under the title "Communications of the West and the Northwest" and was made available to interested parties through the Iran Voice Book Database.
►The meeting of the Compilation and Research Working Group and the Oral History Working Group of the Office for Preservation of Monuments and Propagation of Values of Sacred Defense of Amol County and the People's Headquarters for Commemorating the Islamic Epic of Bahman and the Forest was held today at the headquarters.
►The book "Stranger with Fear; Eight Conversations about Pilot Mahmoud Eskandari" written by Sadegh Vafaei was published in its third edition by the Iranian Press Institute.
►The Deputy Minister and Deputy Minister of Cultural Heritage of the country said: The first phase of the oral history project of cultural heritage has been completed and will be published in the near future by the Cultural Heritage and Tourism Research Institute.
►An oral history interview with veterans of Kerman guilds was launched with Fathollah Moayedi at the General Directorate for Preservation of Monuments and Propagation of Values of Sacred Defense of Kerman Province.
►The head of the Mazandaran Art Center said: The oral history collection of Hazrat Allameh Hassan Hassanzadeh Amoli (RA) will soon be published in cooperation with the Islamic Propaganda of Mazandaran.
►In line with the Congress of Martyrs of Isfahan Province and in the Decade of Sacrifice and Martyrdom of the city, the oral history documentary of the veterans of the Holy Defense was recorded in the second stage, with priority given to veterans over 25%, at the Martyr Foundation and Veterans Affairs in Berkhwar.
►The person in charge of the “Oral History Tuesdays” meetings announced the presence of the Women Writers’ Circle at the Islamic Revolution Documents Center in Qom.
►The book “The Street Was Awake Until Dawn,” an oral history of female students following the Imam’s path, was written by Fatemeh Sadat Hayae Tehrani and published by “Rah Yar” Publications.
►A workshop on “Fundamentals of Fictional Biography” and “Philosophy and Interview Method in Oral History” was held in Kerman with the presence of Mehdi Kamous.
►In a meeting between the Director General of the Office for Preservation of Works and Propagation of Sacred Defense Values in Alborz Province and the Board of Trustees of the Freedmen, the necessity of compiling the oral history of the Freedmen was emphasized.
►The workshop "Interview and Research in Oral History" will be held in cooperation with the Art Center Education Center and the Nonfiction Working Group of the Banoui Farhang Literary Club.
►The book "Handicrafts of Isfahan Province Narrated by Documents" was published by reviewing 15,000 pages of documents, the oral and social history of traditional arts and crafts.
►On the occasion of Book Week, a meeting to review the book "The Story of the Truthful One", a work about the life and storytelling of the late Sheikh Alireza Rastgou, focusing on oral history and children's literature, was held with the support of the Organization's Documents Research Institute in the Parham Hall of the National Documents Building of the National Archives and Library of Iran.
►The Director of Literature and Oral History of the Office for Preservation of Works and Propagation of Sacred Defense Values in Hamadan Province announced: The 22nd specialized meeting on Sacred Defense Literature on the topic of principles and foundations of editing in documenting the Sacred Defense will be held in Hamadan with the participation of prominent national researchers and writers.
►The second scientific pre-session of the Fourth National Conference on the Oral History of Sacred Defense was held at the National Museum of the Islamic Revolution and Sacred Defense, on the topic of the role of the government in the Sacred Defense.

Memoirs of Seyyed Nouraddin AfiIt was early October 1982, just two or three days before the commencement of the operation. A few of the lads, including Karim and Mahmoud Sattari—the two brothers—as well as my own brother Seyyed Sadegh, came over and said, "Come on, let's head towards the water." It was the first days of autumn, and the air was beginning to cool, but I didn’t decline their invitation and set off with them.
