Oral history of Iran sports to be pre- studied

The second expert cultural, educational and research group work of the deputy department of the Ministry of Sports and Youth in Cultural, Educational and Research Affairs for reviewing the plan of compiling zero phases titled “Pre-Study of Iran’s Oral History Sports” was held on July 13, 2016. While introducing the members, the senior advisor of the ministry and deputy of the ministry in cultural, educational and research affairs Abdolhamid Ahmadi considered documentation as a necessary need in the area of sports. He mentioned appropriate ground for creating an archive in each sport federation with the participation of the National Archive and using all the capacities as an important priority in this area.
In this meeting, the plan’s executor Habibollah Esmaeeli explained about the plan of compiling zero phases titled “Pre-Study of Iran’s Oral History Sports” and answered the questions. He regarded as important the observation of all scientific processes for rejecting or confirming the events, saying, “We will use the method of saturation of witnesses in order to collect information.
In continuation of the meeting, Khodabakhsh suggested that registered statistics are used for registration of the events so that the history of sports is depicted at the time of the event. He also called for precision in differentiation of reality with truths, stressing that countering with the events should be carried out without any orientation.
Also, the Head of the Center for Strategic Studies and Researches suggested that in view of the operational nature of the plan, it is better to be set in the form of compilation of the document of studying the oral history of Iranian sports and a contract is signed. Hassan Zadeh also suggested the stage after zero phase is compiled under the title of the first phase in order to be introduced in the scientific committee and then in the Council of Research and Technology of the ministry within a more comprehensive plan.
