17 May 2012

Iran Daily: Biography of the Leader of Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei is a bestseller at the 25th Tehran International Book Fair.
Compiled by Hedayatollah Behboudi, the book has been released by the Political Studies and Research Institute.
Entitled ‘Sharhe Esm’ (definition of the name), the book features the activities and life of the leader before the Islamic Revolution, ISNA reported.
Ayatollah Khamenei paid a visit to the fair on Sunday. He visited several pavilions and held talks with officials, publishers, and organizers of the fair.
The leader stressed the need for promoting book reading culture, and urged Culture and Islamic Guidance Ministry to remove all obstacles in the way of publishers.
The Political Studies and Research Institute has so far presented over 40 titles on contemporary history and the 1979 Islamic Revolution at the fair.
‘Iran and the British Colonialism’ in two volumes, and ‘Terrorism in the Contemporary Iran’ are among the books.
The 25th Tehran International Book Fair is underway at Tehran’s Grand Imam Khomeini Prayer Ground (Mosalla), and will run through May 12.
Over 2,400 Iranian and 1,600 foreign publishers from 77 countries are presenting their products at this year’s fair.
