Many have dealt with the story of the "movement of oil nationalization in Iran", its aftermath and, Mosaddegh’s government in 1951-1953 numerous times.  Different narrators, scholars and historians, Iranian and non-Iranian when retelling the events of 1940s and 1950s have analyzed and judged these events. This time the narrator of the movement of nationalization of oil is someone who has closely witnessed the events and was involved in the incidents of the time. Dr. Muhammad Hassan Salemi, shares his observations and analysis with the new generation.
Since, Dr. Salemi was close to a political figure of those times, he was exposed to many issues and incidents.
Being the grandson of Ayatollah Kashani, one of the leaders of the movement of oil nationalization, and a politically active member of the movement, he is very well informed about Iran in that period of time. Today, in his seventies, he is a retired physician. Based on his own observations, private family documents and other books and references, he offers an alternative narrative of the national movement, a narrative exclusive to Dr. Salemi, a narrative throughout which his viewpoints and analysis is expressed.
The present book revolves around examining and telling the life and activities of Ayatollah Kashani, from birth do death. Along with this narrative, Dr. Salemi offers his own observations and opinions which have resulted in a book about one of the most glorious periods of contemporary history of Iran.
