3rd National Archives conference to be held

The 3rd National Conference of Archives in Iran will be held June 11 parallel with the international archives day at the National Library and Archives Organization of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
IBNA: According to the public relation office of the National Library and Archives Organization of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the national documents deputy of the organization, Amir Masoud Shahramnia, said the documents research center of the organization will hold the conference jointly with a number of national documents and archives centers, universities and research centers.
Scientific secretary of the event added that the articles submitted to the secretariat have been screened and 38 abstracts have been filtered out giving way to 32 others to be presented at conference or published as the book of the event.
Titled as Archives for All, the conference is themed at management of electronic documents, added Shahramnia. "The conference is aimed at building up information about archives and e-documents management."
Discussing management contracts regarding e-documents in the world, gathering and valuating e-documents, administrative automation, e-documents management necessities and possibilities of devising a national archives system in the country are other topics which will be dealt with in the conference.
The 3rd National Conference of Archives in Iran will be held June 9, 2011 at the Treasury Building of the National Library and Archives Organization of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
