Accomplishment of "Memory-Writing" movement and future of Holy Defense books

 
Hidden but influential achievements which have borne fruit

We are now in the 32nd week of the Holy Defense. A little more than 24 years has passed from the end of the Iraqi imposed war against Islamic Republic of Iran. During these years, much has been said about the issue by all of those who are attached to and have responsibility and analyze the issues of the occasions, but less has been published about the oral history on the basis of many of those statements (whether in the form of telling memories and narrating events or in the form of promotional and encouraging remarks).
The volume of written subjects have paved the way for exhibitions and festivals so much and been made so extensive that it seems today, attention to the Holy Defense in terms of a movement like memory-writing movement has been accomplished.
At present and almost in all the cities of Iran, the memoirs of martyrs, war veterans, the disabled, POWs, combatants and commanders of the Holy Defense years are being written, and apart from the quality of this move, the quantity is predicted to be astonishing, because many of these written subjects have been published or are on the verge of preparation or publishing. Literary writings should be added to this amount in which poem ranks first. Also many writers have found new motives about the events of the imposed war against Iran.
In addition to making serious efforts for taking part in all domestic exhibitions, specialized publishers in the area of the Holy Defense books observe foreign fairs, and the news coming out of their participation in Frankfurt book fair shows that the Holy Defense publishers have found a new way in displaying one of the superior parts of written works in Islamic Republic of Iran globally. If they take steps continually and diligently in this way, the results such as domestic wining of the Holy Defense books would be brought for the culture of this land.
Thus, the accomplishments of the situation are much, but they are not studied, classified and presented continuously so that the future plans for producing and publishing the Holy Defense books are arranged precisely. Relying on newly-established institutions, the publishers of this area are seeking to create safe ways against their common problems such as the expensive price of paper in order to help the area of publishing the Holy Defense books damage less.
The experience of the past years shows the fact that the policies of the institutions supporting the written sources of the Holy Defense are usually one-sided and as much as the certain share of each of them in this field. The writers and publishers have gained the supports in view of their level of relation with them. But the situation does not lead to precise policy-making for using all existing achievements and creating better results in the future. It seems that the current body of the area of the Holy Defense and its elements (like writers and publishers and …) should produce and present preliminary policy-makings so that it leads to two-sided stronger policies after checking institutional capabilities and ideas and they should not be negligent of the hidden but influential achievements which have borne fruit and the future with lots of expectations.
